About Qi:

1. A fundamental concept of traditional chinese culture. Qi is believed to be part of every living thing that exists, as a kind of "life force"
2. The Chinese word used to describe the "natural energy of the Universe."  Chi is believed to exist in all things, including the human body.
3. It is believed that by access this "Spiritual or Life or Universe's Energy" one can excel beyond the physical limits that they are restrained to.
4. Qi, Chee, Ki, Chi can also be used to summon other kinds of energy sources such as magic, & psychic force energy. 

Using Qi for Magic:

1. Qi can be used to access an energy called magic.  Magic is a kind of energy that exist on every planet throughout the universe.  It’s purpose range from manipulation of the elements to being able to call on the spirits for assistance in battle.  As stated, the enhabintants of the planet can access the planet’s magical energy by using their Qi. 
2. Magical energy is called Mana.  Ki is transformed into Mana, thus giving the individual the ability to access the magical energy of the planet.
3. Using Mana takes physical energy as well as Ki, this limits users to how often they can cast spells, & how powerful their spells can be.  Those who can manipulate a larger amount of Ki, have access to a greater amount of Mana thus giving them the ability to cast more powerful spells & spells they were not previously able to cast. 
4. The stronger the Ki of the individual, the less Mana it will take for them to cast spells.

Using Qi for Cosmic Energy:

1. Cosmotians use Qi to access energy from the stars.  This is called Cosmic Energy.  The source of all cosmic energy is “The Cosmos” which is located in what’s known as the center of the universe or the sun of suns. 
2. Cosmic energy is an extremely destructive force of energy.  Cosmic energy requires a large amount of Ki to access, & is extremely exhausting to the user.  Use of cosmic energy drains a user’s physical energy, stamina, & vitality. 
3. The stronger the Ki of the individual, the less physical energy, stamina & vitality it will take to access Cosmic energy.

Using Qi for Psychic Energy:

1. Physical energy is a kind of energy that is available to all beings with a physical brain.  It can be used to enhance a user’s physical abilities, as an invisible force or to manipulate the minds of others.
2. Psychic energy is accessed through deep consecration & use of Qi.  Because this energy comes from the users mind, it often has negative side effects such as dizziness, temporaty blindness & paralyzation. 
3. The stronger the Ki of the individual, the less Ki it takes to use Phychic Abilities, this will also lower the time phrame of the delay effect of using phychic abilities if there are any depending on how strong the individuals Ki is.

Qi can be acquired by exercising the skills that one uses Ki(practice). 

How characters gain new abilities:
Characters gain new abilities by going to Training Centers & talking to one of the Monk NPCs who will give a character a test for that ability.  The NPC will direct that character to a door which will be a teleport to the trial grounds.  All test for abilities is level based, so what level the player’s character is when taking the test, the mobs will either be a little lower, a little higher or the same level as the character.  The test is completed when a character receives the Key Item “Scroll of Completion” or “Scroll of Past Achievement”, & has given that Key Item to the NPC Monk that gave the test. 
These trials can either be passed or failed, (if a character fails to get the “Scroll of Completion”, or allows the scroll to deactivate.  Players have one hour real time from receiving the key item to give the item to the NPC Monk or it will deactivate & they will be forced to take the test over again.  If a character has a deactivated scroll then they must give it to the NPC Monk, so the test will be counted as a failure & players can only take one test at a time.
