David Windsands has a very simple goal. To assist as many people as he can in reaching their personal greatness. To help people realize that there is greatness within them, unless they refuse to accept it. If you are not even on the path to greatness, he wishes to turn on your surrounding lights which will light a path for you to follow. He often gets people to return to creative forms of expression which they have allowed life to rob them of. It is impossible to achieve greatness without many forms of creative expression.
We can be successful, in terms of economic standpoint, but have no greatness in our lives. There are some so distant from their greatness, that it is if it was never there. Yet when we were children we had dreams, visions, desires to do something great. As time passed by, we had to get a job, pay bills, take care of our homes, chase material possessions, & grant loyalty to a number of other things that have become priorities. Many people have children & grandchildren that they must provide for. We allow the fact that we have priorities to take away & then totally erase our visions. Our shining lights become dim until they're totally turned off & we are just mundane robots who train others to be the same.
Those with children are in greater need of their greatness then those without. Although they have less time to achieve any goals they have on their own. It is important to show a child what greatness looks like, so that they may desire to find that within themselves. Also greatness gives one a confidence that can only be achieved by walking towards greatness or being it. In a society where having low self esteem is considered cool & often promoted by the media, it's important to feed the children a message that they have value.
Many of us are so incredibly defeated it's unbelievable. We've allowed  the trials of life & the disappointments we put into the world to control how we view ourselves. Let us for arguments sake say there is no God & no Devil. Then "the Devil" would be that destructive, greedy, ignorant self that only sees temporary pleasures  not consequences, that only tells oneself of his/her failures, weaknesses & times others have hurt us. That "Devil" only reminds us of everything negative in our life, with a goal to spawn more negative events. Often these events look great, like a piece of dodo covered in whip cream & strawberries. On the outside looking sweet, but inside past the "whip cream" is pure dodo. While "God" is the self that is creative, that self that manifest itself when you help others. That self that gives, forgives & sacrifices. That grows in wisdom & strength daily & sheds it's shining light on others so that they may become beacons of light themselves.
We all know there are spiritual beings around us, but I believe the point is expressed in this contrast.
There are many artist who have bright lights, but still are not on that path. Their ego has blocked them from taking the necessary steps towards greatness. They often tell others to do things that they have ran away from & will make excuses not to do these things when confronted. Therefore, even a very skilled artist, who on the outside appears to be greatness, in nothing but a shallow & afraid human being who is controlled by their fears. Fear being False Evidence Appearing Real.
There are very few artist who have no fears, just as very few humans have no insecurities. This is not what we mean. Almost all of us will have these things. Will you allow these things to dominate your life? Will you allow failure to say it can never be done, by you?
Did you give up on something, not because you didn't like it, but because you did not become good enough in the time you wanted to become good? What is good?
What we often find is that these blockades don't allow us to take the skills we currently have & enjoy doing what we do. Yes learning new skills is necessary, but there are things we can do now with the very skills we have. Sometimes we find ourselves doing this new thing that we could have done years ago. It's not that we became better at what we did (well we hope you get better each year), but it is that your mind was closed to that ability. Your mind believed that you couldn't do it, or your eyes were not able to see that you had everything you need to complete the task.
The walk of personal greatness is a lifestyle & very expensive. It will cause one to sacrifice things that give pleasure for the moment, for long term goals. It will have people who don't enjoy reading buying books & reading them multiple times so that the necessary knowledge sinks into their head. It may have one appear as crazy to others. But it will give one a love for oneself that can't be taken away. To have experienced one's greatness in any field will produce a state of mind that only greatness can understand. This feeling & knowledge of oneself can't be described, only experienced.
It is impossible to achieve greatness without divine assistance. Without a willing submission to deity man works entirely on the strength he has which is not enough. Man's willpower is so incredibly insignificant that it's almost worthless. Yet there are some who base their entire life on their own willpower, achieve great heights, but never even come close to their true greatness that would have been achieved with ease instead of being "only good" through years of hard work.
True greatness is submission. A clear filter where the divine self can express it's ideas through your body as nothing but a vessel of expression. As the writer uses a pen, the divine uses man. As a pen with no ink is useless to the writer, a man with no submission is useless to the divine greatness that lies within.
David Windsands wants all to achieve the highest extent of their personal greatness or at least to walk that path daily. Becoming wiser, greater & more submissive. Knowing that one is pure beauty & not accepting any ugliness.
Become your greatness.
